Due to the Canada Post mail service disruption, the December 2024 Newsletter will not be mailed to Peachland homes. It is now available here to view.
December Council meeting highlights include the introduction of the 2025 Provisional Budget and the results of the 2024 Citizens Survey. Get details and more here.
Peachland Municipal Hall will be closed for the holiday season beginning Wednesday, December 25, with normal operations resuming on Thursday, January 2, 2025. Emergency and essential services will remain in operation during the closure. See here for Community Centre recreation information.
The Winter 2025 Peachland Recreation Guide is now available online! Due to the Canada Post strike, the Winter Recreation Guide is not being mailed out. Physical copies will be available at the Community Centre during business hours.
The 2025 Provisional Budget, presented to Council Dec. 3, includes a proposed tax increase of 6.65% ($111 increase for an average assessed home). The increase is necessary to fund ongoing operational expenses and services and to contribute a portion to reserves for future expenditures. Get details here.
Peachland Council’s Climate Action Task Force has launched an online survey to find out how the District of Peachland and its residents can work together to limit climate pollution and prepare for the impacts of climate change.
