District crews were able to complete repair work without losing pressure in the system and a Boil Water Notice was not required. The precautionary boil water notice has been rescinded, and normal water service has resume for all properties in the Ponderosa area.

The District of Peachland will be conducting water main maintenance on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 on Ponderosa Drive. Water service may be disrupted between 8 am and 4 pm for properties from 4603 to 4630 Ponderosa Drive.
During this period, the municipal water may be drained and a temporary precautionary boil water notice put in place. Residents should take necessary measures to store water for use during the closure, or boil water for one full minute before use, and to protect plumbing installations, including hot water tanks, against possible damage.
Once water service is restored, water may be discoloured due to sediment in service lines. Please run cold water taps until water runs clear.
