Peachland, B.C. – The District of Peachland is holding a Parcel Tax Review Panel at 10:30 am on Monday, May 5, in Council Chambers at 4450 6th Street, Peachland. regarding parcel tax assessment rolls.
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 204 of the Community Charter, there are no new parcel taxes being levied in 2025. District of Peachland continues to impose the following parcel tax on all parcels within the District of Peachland, other than those that are exempt from the tax:
RDCO Westside Regional Transfer Station Bylaw No. 2438, 2025 | $ 42.36 |
Phase 1-D and Phase 2 Sewer Collection Specified Areas Bylaw No. 2439, 2025 | $ 129.33 |
Water Treatment Plant Debt Servicing Bylaw No. 2440, 2025 | $ 200.42 |
Protective Services Building Project Parcel Tax Bylaw No. 2441, 2025 | $ 150.00 |
The Parcel Tax Roll is available for inspection at the District office, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Please contact gfilafilo@peachland.ca to arrange an appointment for viewing.
If you wish to appeal the Parcel Tax Roll, a written notice outlining the reason for your appeal must be emailed, received by mail or dropped in the available drop box at Municipal Hall on or before 4:00 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2025.
Appeals based only on one or more of the following grounds will be heard by the Panel:
- there is an error or omission respecting a name or address on the parcel tax roll;
- there is an error or omission respecting the inclusion of a parcel; OR
- an exemption has been improperly allowed or disallowed.
