Peachland's GIS (geographic information services) is provided by the Regional District of Central Okanagan's (RDCO) GIS Team.
By selecting different layers, you can learn a lot about a property. There are detailed map layers for each department, including: Base Cadastre, Engineering, Parks, Planning, Fire Protection & Waste Reduction, as well as aerial imagery for different years.

OCP Future Land Use Map
An OCP future land use map is a map that shows how a community plans to use its land in the future. It's part of an Official Community Plan (OCP), which is a long-term vision for a community.
What does an OCP do?
- Guides decisions about land use, services, and physical, social, and economic changes
- Supports positive economic, social, cultural, and environmental outcomes
- Prioritizes investments in transportation, servicing, and amenity infrastructure

- Where various uses may be considered appropriate
- How and where a city intends to grow
- What types of development would be supported
- Where to prioritize investments in transportation, servicing, and amenity infrastructure
Zoning Map
A zoning land use map is a map that shows how land is divided into zones for different uses. It's used to control development and growth in a city or region.
How is it used?
- City planners: Use zoning maps to manage growth and development
- Builders and developers: Use zoning maps to ensure their projects comply with local regulations
- Homebuyers: Use zoning maps to learn what's permitted on a property
- Business owners: Use zoning maps to learn what's permitted on a property
What does it show?
- Zones: Different colors and patterns on the map indicate different types of land use, like residential or commercial
