Peachland's Rubber Ducky Race is back! Join in the family fun and support Peachland's new cultural centre, Our SPACE, located in the historic yellow schoolhouse at 5684 Beach Avenue. Join us on Sunday, April 13th from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm, Trepanier Creek Park at Beach Avenue and Todd Road. Our SPACE, the School for Peachland Arts, Culture and Ecology, is the partnership between BEEPS, Okanagan Folk School, and the Peachland Community Arts Council. Funds from this event will go towards the operation and maintenance of the Peachland Historic School, a historic Peachland gem. 

This event is a celebration in memory of Doris Muhs who was a key volunteer for the Rubber Ducky Race for many years.

Adult racing duck tickets are available at the schoolhouse on Beach Avenue from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Wednesday through Sunday. Children's racing ducks are available at the same location, same time, but will also be for sale on race day from 9:00 am to 10:00 am or until Sold Out. Children are able to retrieve their duck after the race and the first 10 across the finish line in each of 4 heats will receive a prize. Adult ducks will race in 3 heats with the first ten across the finish line becoming contenders in the final heat which earns a first place prize of five hundred dollars, second place three hundred dollars, and third place two hundred dollars. The best Ducky Dance and best Ducky Costume will also earn prizes. Kids games, market vendors and food stations also add to the fun of the day.
